Perfectly imperfect—the only way to describe Mel + Jared’s wedding day. M + J were married at The Lodges on Vashon Island mid-October and it was the most beautiful fall wedding. Things ran a bit longer than expected, parts of the day were different from what they had planned, and still…this day was a dream. Wedding days like this make me remember why I love this job so much. Capturing the love these two had for each other (and their friends) was a kind of magic that I will be carrying with me to every other wedding I shoot.
